I Am a Queen, Unbothered!

I am so thankful I don’t look like what I’ve been through! You don’t have to look like you’ve been through hell and back, just because you have. As a Queens its best to live life as if nothing is bothering us, unbothered. Even if our world around us is crashing down, we never let our crown fall because we KNOW there is a purpose for it all. Everyone has experienced some type of struggle in their life! It may be many struggles, but you do not have to let that define the woman you are.

Life is life, you just have to grab it by the wheel and hold on tight through all the ups and downs. Don’t let your situations define you, and don’t let your come ups make you snobby. Through everything you must remain humble. Everyone grows at different rates, and Queens don’t undermine another woman because she is currently in her storm, she’s in a season of growth and we help her, we empower her! We let her know that I’ve been there too! It’s nothing wrong empowering another woman, it helps you also! My life is not near perfect, but it brings me so much happiness empowering other women every day because it not only releases positivity to others, as well as myself, but it helps me in ways no one may ever know! Always be willing to be a shining light to someone else, no matter your personal circumstances there is always someone out there who could, at the least, use your smile and kind words.

As a Queen, do not set yourself up to where you need a man, but create a life to where you only have want him. Be the kind of woman a man needs, not the kind who needs a man. A strong woman has a man only because she wants him, but she is content without him. Some men are drawn away from strong women, but those are not men, they are boys. Some will even try to knock you off your thrown, undermine you, break you down and make you feel less than a woman just to be above you rather than stepping up to the plate, growing and becoming the perfect man for you. THOSE ARE BOYS! Know how to spot the difference from a man and a boy.

Get a man who can’t live without you, who loves every bit of your being. As women we often get heartbroken because we are always the ones overly invested in a relationship, loving someone who doesn’t love us the same, putting up with things we shouldn’t etc. because we can’t live without them. Sometimes we are hopping from man to man just to feel loved, just so we aren’t lonely.. I talk about loving yourself a lot, but this is very important when it comes to loving others and them loving us back. Fall in love with yourself enough to where you’re not just accepting any man that comes into your life. Every man you meet/date does not deserve your body and your heart, make him earn it.

KNOW YOUR WORTH! When you know and understand your worth, you won’t settle for anything less in a man’s life. You have to act in such a way that attracts the kind of man you want. You can’t be on the internet and in public flaunting your goodies, acting ratchet and think a king is going to approach you. You’re not even displaying acts of a queen so why would you think you deserve such? Love is always so beautiful but don’t be so in love to where you are nothing without him. Set yourself up to where your life is great with him but you won’t fall flat on your butt if he up and decides to leave you tomorrow. Find God, find yourself, then watch the kind of man God delivers you.

It’s easy to stand with a crowd and go along with what someone says, but it takes courage to stand alone in your morals. As women it’s so easy to get caught up in compromising your morals for money, fame, opportunities etc. but remember all publicity isn’t good publicity. Honestly il keep my ambition & determination and allow my work ethic to speak for itself, no matter how long it takes. Because I personally can’t take the guilt and shame I would feel if I chose to degrade myself instead. Not knocking anyone’s hustle btw but I believe there is so many other ways to make it than “taking the easy way out” it takes a Queen to stand on her morals and get through anything the world may throw her.

As a Queen you know things may get tough, but you are stronger than whatever it is. If you miss out on opportunities because you choose to stand strong on your morals. Do. Not. Be. Sad. Anyone who has respect for you would not have put you in that position in the first place. Treat yourself like a Queen first and set standards for your life, know what things to say yes to and what things to pass on. My dad always tells me, don’t let your young years determine your older years.

Make good choices now so good opportunities are able to come your way in the future. Protect yourself. Be cautious with who you share yourself with. Yes allow your positive energy to flourish and radiate the lives of others, but be careful of who you give your all too. We push for greater and to become a better person but we forget that there are people out there who do not have your best interest in mind. They want to tear you down. Belittle you and spend every moment they can waiting for you to fail. Be careful not to give these people your all.

Be aware of those who are disguised as friends. The ones who only want to be around to know your business, the ones who are only around for the come up but are nowhere to be found in the darkness, the ones who don’t celebrate your success, the undercover haters. Understand that everyone isn’t on the same mind set you are, so everyone do not understand the things you do. Protect yourself from those who don’t want to help themselves.

As women we get so caught up in helping people, sometimes to the point we are forcing them, not everyone wants to be on this journey to happiness, and you have to be okay with that. But learn to love them from a distance so they do not bring you down. Too many times we come across those who has false advertised themselves as genuine and loyal, but in reality were low-key hating and were jealous. Surround yourself with those on the same mission as you. Surround yourself with people who make you happy, who genuinely care. Who make you laugh and are always there when you need them. When you come across those REAL people, cherish them. They don’t come around as often.

This journey to happiness is a choice. It’s not saying everything in your life is perfect, but you choose to count your blessings instead. You choose to let go of all things you have no control over. Honestly when you learn to be thankful for all the things you have now, and have confidence that something great is going to happen in your future, happiness is automatic. You don’t have anything else to worry about! Most of the time we are unhappy is because we are worrying TOO MUCH! We worry about things we can’t control and stress over things we can’t fix instead of just letting go! You have to let go of all your worry and problems.

I was someone who worried about EVERYTHING! Like would get STRESSED OUT because I was handling everything on my own. But once I realized I was causing all this stress and sadness on myself, I learned how to channel that energy into praying & finding solutions. No longer have pity parties over what wasn’t, but be thankful for what is. Happiness will never be able to live within you if you are not thankful for what you have now! Happiness is an attitude, you either make yourself happy or miserable, but the work you put in is the same for both. Choose to create your own happiness. Oftentimes we look to those around us, parents, sig. others, siblings, friends etc. to make us happy when we hold that power.

Don’t give some else that much power over you, stay in control of all things YOU! You have sole control over your life until you die. Choose what makes you happy every step of the way. So release all your hatred and worries, learn to give more & expect less and learn to live simply. Don’t let it take too much to make you happy. Feel good, no great, about yourself and need no validation from anyone!! People love to try and steal your happiness in any way possible, remain unbothered and continue on your journey.

Choose to be happy TODAY! Don’t wait for an accomplishment or something good to happen. CHOOSE TODAY. Instead of waiting for someone to make you smile, choose to make someone smile today! Instead of waiting on someone to make your day, make someone else’s day! Whatever positivity you want to spread today is your choice but I challenge you to at least one act of kindness every day and watch the effect it has on you & your own happiness!
